The Maine Tide has named a new coach. For 2010 Hailey Blackburn will serve as Head Coach for the Maine Tide. Most recently Blackburn played for U Maine and comes to the team with many awards from her youth, Region 1 and college career. As of the start of the season Blackburn will have a degree in Kinesiology and Physical Education.
“In 2009 The Tide committed to player development and to providing opportunities to players from within the state of Maine. The addition of Hailey as coach not only serves that mission, but brings a new excitement to the team” states Cheryl Stokes team owner.
Blackburn has already started recruiting and will be looking for enthusiastic and talented players at the team tryouts.
Tryouts will be held March 21st at the Fields 4 Kids Indoor center from 1-3 pm.
